We are currently hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for our men’s and women’s programs. Ideal candidates are compassionate, dependable, and committed to supporting individuals through treatment and recovery while maintaining a structured and therapeutic environment.
Residential Services: DISC Village, Inc. provides a 200-acre campus in a quiet rustic setting that houses an array of residential treatment facilities for adult males and females some with infants with a focus on clinical treatment, relapse prevention and developing an aftercare plan.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Active engagement with all aspects of residents day to day activities
- Adhering to guidelines in the Residential Services Manual as well as program policies
- Providing transportation for residents related services
- Monitoring and assisting with residents related functions such as medication distribution, drug screens, visitation, meals, hygiene, and head counts
- Completing client documentation and program logs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and experience in working with clients in a substance abuse, mental health, or other residential setting preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in a behavioral science field can substitute for the required experience.
- Expected to maintain a professional demeanor, respect for authority, appropriate interaction skills, and maintain ethical and confidentiality standards.
- Must obtain and maintain current CPR, First Aid, and CPI certifications.
- Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation. Must provide proof or car insurance.
