Mechanical Engineering Technician - Direct Hire
The Mechanical Engineering Technician position is located in the area of Andover, MA. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a company known for its innovative approach to thermal and mechanical engineering solutions.
Shift of the Mechanical Engineering Technician:
M-F 8:30am-5pm
Pay Rate/Salary of the Mechanical Engineering Technician:
$33-38/hr
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineering Technician:
- Assist Engineers in creating and assembling custom Thermal/Mechanical fixtures.
- Support thermal evaluations of DC-DC and AC-DC component power supplies.
- Prepare power supply modules for testing with necessary components.
- Assemble power supply modules into custom mechanical/thermal test fixtures.
- Capture thermal and electrical data during power supply evaluations.
Qualifications of the Mechanical Engineering Technician:
- Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- 4-7+ years of experience in an Engineering Aide or Technician role.
- Hands-on experience fabricating parts for lab-scale test fixtures.
- Ability to solder basic components and create wiring assemblies.
- Excellent communication skills to interface with multiple engineering disciplines.
