Position: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Location: Novi Community Schools – Non-Driving Position
Shift: 1st Shift | Full-Time | Year-Round
Pay: $19.75/hour

Are you a dependable, hands-on professional who enjoys keeping facilities safe, clean, and well-maintained? At Enviro-Clean we’re looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support Novi Community Schools.
In this role, you’ll help maintain school facilities and grounds, perform basic repairs, and ensure buildings are comfortable, safe, and ready for students and staff each day.
What You’ll Do
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
- Climb ladders to complete maintenance tasks.
- Replace ceiling tiles and light fixtures.
- Perform basic painting and drywall repairs.
- Assist with HVAC upkeep, including filter changes and basic motor maintenance.
- Perform general equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with lawn care and snow removal as needed.
- Complete routine housekeeping and other assigned facility duties.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
What We’re Looking For
- Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Basic maintenance and repair skills.
- Comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
- Able to climb ladders and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Previous facilities, maintenance, custodial, or construction experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Positive attitude and good customer service skills.
