Now Hiring Front of House Manager
Chillingham’s Steak is seeking an experienced, hands-on Front of House Manager to lead our service team and ensure exceptional guest experiences. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in developing strong teams and delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front-of-house operations, including dining room, bar, and host stand
- Lead, coach, and support servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and support staff
- Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns
- Manage staffing levels, floor assignments, and shift execution
- Train new employees and reinforce service standards
- Monitor cleanliness, organization, and appearance throughout the restaurant
- Work closely with kitchen management to ensure smooth service and communication
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and daily operational reporting
- Maintain compliance with company policies, health regulations, and liquor laws
- Serve as a visible leader during service and assist wherever needed
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience required
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing high-volume dining operations preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Knowledge of wine, cocktails, and upscale dining service preferred
- Nights, weekends, and holiday availability required
