Bliss Progressive Psychiatry is a private, integrative mental health practice led by Mandy Bliss, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC. We specialize in personalized psychiatry, hormone health, and ketamine therapy in a calm, compassionate environment.
We are out-of-network with insurance and focus on high-quality, patient-centered care, not volume or speed.
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant or LPN who is kind, intelligent, organized, efficient, and eager to take ownership of both clinical and administrative duties in a small, specialized setting.

Position Summary
This role is in-person. (Limited remote hours will be considered on a case-by-case basis.) The MA/LPN will support patient care and manage daily office operations so the provider can focus fully on clinical treatment. This role is ideal for someone who values independence, professionalism, and compassion, and who wants to grow under the mentorship of a thought leader in integrative psychiatry.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, room, and manage patients for appointments and treatments
- Place IV lines and assist with ketamine treatments under provider supervision (training provided)
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and pre-charting in Healthie (EHR)
- Triage calls, emails, and pharmacy requests with professionalism and precision
- Manage scheduling, patient paperwork, and medical record coordination
- Prepare letters, process prior authorizations, and assist with disability/FMLA forms
- Run KASPER reports and collect urine drug screenings (training provided)
- Maintain clean, calm, and organized patient areas
- Support a quiet, professional, patient-first environment
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Experience with psychiatry, behavioral health, or integrative medicine is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, including comfort working with EHRs and online patient portals
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with strong personal boundaries
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Willingness to learn IV placement (training provided)
- Must either have all vaccines up to date or be willing to properly mask at all times within the office during peak periods of viral respiratory infection
- Must be comfortable working in an out-of-network, direct-pay practice
- Must have reliable transportation
Schedule
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Tuesday: 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- One Saturday per month paid at time-and-a-half (option for one weekday off during that week)
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly W-2 pay, $22.00 - $23.00 based on experience
