Farm Equipment Mechanics for Large Commercial Farmer
- Diagnosing and Repairing Machinery: Troubleshoot and repair minor to major failures with electrical, hydraulic, diesel engine and attachment issues with tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and other farm equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure equipment stays in good working condition and avoid breakdowns.
- Test and adjust equipment components to optimize performance and efficiency.
- Work with other mechanics
- Work with newer technologies, such as GPS-guided systems, in modern farm machinery.
- Welding and fabricating as needed
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- MINIMUM 2 - 3 years working on John Deere or Case IH farm equipment, balers, pickers, sprayers, spreaders etc.
- PREFERRED AA Diesel Technology or factory training and certifications from John Deere AG equipment
- Must have basic tools to perform in this role effectively
- Must maintain high efficiency and maintain safety protocol at all times
- Pre employment drug screen and physical required
