Paydayz is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Burner Operator to join our Night Shift production team. This position is responsible for monitoring kiln operations, tracking production data, and transferring kiln cars in and out of the kiln to ensure efficient and safe production. The ideal candidate has basic computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and enjoys working in a manufacturing environment.
No kiln experience is required—we provide on-the-job training for our kiln software and operating procedures.
Monitor kiln temperatures, pressures, and production data using computerized kiln software.
Transfer kiln cars safely in and out of the kiln.
Record production data accurately and maintain operational logs.
Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues to supervision.
Use basic hand tools to perform minor adjustments and routine maintenance.
Follow all company safety policies and production procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Assist with general production duties as needed.
Basic computer skills with the ability to learn kiln operating software (training provided).
Ability to accurately read, record, and communicate production data.
Basic math skills.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use basic hand tools.
Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred but not required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Reliable attendance and ability to work independently.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
Comfortable working in a hot manufacturing environment around industrial equipment.
Ability to work safely around moving machinery and high-temperature equipment.
Night Shift (42 Hours Per Week)
