Diesel Mechanic - responsible for entire fleet, large equipment in quarry and on job sites.
Must have valid drivers license, clear driving record, be able to pass a background check and a drug test.

Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, and electrical systems across diverse machinery.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, brake repairs, shocks & struts, and alignment procedures to maximize equipment lifespan.
- Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and effectively during repair and maintenance tasks.
- Fabricate parts or modifications using welding and hand tools to meet specific repair needs or enhance equipment performance.
- Inspect and repair vehicle systems for farm machinery, industrial equipment, heavy trucks, and automotive systems for truck drivers.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and document all repairs performed to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Skills
- Proven leadership experience with heavy equipment operation and vehicle maintenance is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, HVAC systems, air brakes, suspension components, and automotive electrical systems.
- Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and diagnostic software for automotive diagnostics.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for complex repairs.
- Experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractor-trailers, farm machinery, industrial equipment, and heavy trucks.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
- Capable of heavy lifting safely while performing maintenance tasks in various environments.

Pay: $35.00 - $44.00 per hour
