Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Float Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a clinic environment. This role requires excellent clinical skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and a passion for supporting patients. This position requires the employee to float between our Ruston and Monroe offices, as needed.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and health status, documenting any changes or concerns.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
- Perform Therapeutic Phlebotomy.
- Patient charting will be completed within 24 hours of the patient's treatment visit.
- Other duties as assigned by manager or physician.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Louisiana.
- At least 2 year of RN experience in an Oncology clinic/department, preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and team members.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with nursing best practices.

Pay: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour
