We’re growing and looking for a detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team.
Position Summary
The Project Engineer will support the development, engineering, and documentation of store fixture projects—from initial concept drawings to production-ready documents. This role collaborates closely with internal teams, vendors, and manufacturing partners to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed engineering drawings, models, and assemblies for store fixtures.
- Use Autodesk Inventor or other 3D modeling software to produce accurate designs.
- Develop drawings using AutoCAD (2D) when applicable.
- Note: AutoCAD experience may be considered in place of Inventor/3D modeling skills.
- Review and interpret design intent, architectural drawings, and client specifications.
- Prepare manufacturing documentation, including bill of materials (BOMs), part files, and assembly details.
- Collaborate with project managers and production teams to solve design challenges.
- Ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and meet project timelines.
- Support quality control by verifying accuracy of engineered drawings prior to release.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D CAD software
- Experience with AutoCAD (2D) is acceptable in place of 3D modeling experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of materials, fabrication methods, or engineering principles.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, architectural drawings, or shop drawings.
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in the store fixture, millwork, or manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with metal, wood, and mixed-material fabrication.
- Understanding of production processes and engineering workflows.
