Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our family-owned contracting company. In this role, you will be instrumental in executing a wide range of building projects, from residential new builds to remodels. Must be willing to work hard, be prompt and work independently.
Duties
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and perform heavy lifting safely on-site
- Manage framing carpentry, trim carpentry, woodworking, and metal stud framing activities
- Assist with remodeling and restoration projects by applying skills in general carpentry
- Collaborate with team members to complete work to highest quality.
Skills
- Experience in residential construction projects
- Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders along with hand tools for precise work
- Excellent measurement skills using tape measures
- Familiarity with framing carpentry, plus trim carpentry skills
- Basic math skills necessary for calculations related to measurements and material quantities
- Ability to work safely and independently with heavy lifting requirements while maintaining attention to detail
