In this role, you’ll help local and regional businesses connect with their audiences through broadcast and digital advertising solutions. You’ll build relationships with business owners and decision-makers, develop new accounts, manage client relationships, and recommend marketing campaigns that help clients promote their brands, products, and services.
This is a strong opportunity for someone with outside sales, B2B sales, account management, business development, advertising sales, digital media sales, or local market sales experience who wants to build a career in media and marketing.
What you’ll do
- Generate new business through prospecting, referrals, networking, phone outreach, email, and social media
- Build and maintain relationships with local business owners, marketing leaders, and decision-makers
- Manage and grow a book of business while consistently developing new accounts
- Learn each client’s goals, audience, and challenges, then recommend marketing solutions that fit their needs
- Sell broadcast television, digital media, video, streaming, social, display, and other advertising solutions
- Present proposals, campaign recommendations, and performance updates to clients
- Research local market trends and identify opportunities for businesses to reach their target customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to help campaigns launch accurately and on time
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
Who you are
- 2 or more years of experience in sales, account management, business development, outside sales, client relationship management, media sales, advertising sales, digital marketing sales, or a related revenue-generating role
- Comfortable prospecting, building relationships, presenting solutions, and asking for business
- Able to manage a pipeline, follow up consistently, and convert prospects into long-term clients
- Strong communicator who can explain marketing solutions clearly and confidently
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Local to the Casper market or familiar with the types of businesses and organizations that serve the community
- Interested in broadcast media, digital advertising, local business growth, and helping clients succeed
Preferred experience
- Experience selling broadcast, digital advertising, media, marketing services, sponsorships, or related solutions
- Knowledge of digital advertising solutions such as paid social, streaming video, display advertising, search marketing, retargeting, or reputation management
- Experience using a CRM or managing a book of business
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or a related field
