Essential Requirements
- Explain your production line changeover process, including tooling inspection and storage, while ensuring minimal downtime.
- Describe diagnosing and repairing an urgent electrical or mechanical machinery breakdown safely and quickly under pressure.
- How do you use checklists for preventive maintenance on components, lubrication, and safety hazards? Explain how you would train a junior mechanic.
Desirable Requirements
- This position requires working with air compressors, vacuum pumps, and performing welding/part fabrication. What is your comfort level and experience with these specific tools and equipment?
- Are you comfortable with a role that requires bilingual skills, high visual attention, and potential Saturday overtime?
Role
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment to ensure continuous operation.
- Execute equipment changeovers and assist in the installation of new machinery.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Train mechanic trainee workers on changeovers, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
- Maintain a safe work environment by inspecting production lines and reporting safety hazards immediately.
