MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Be at least 18 years of age
· Have previous experience working in the health care industry
· Be in good health, and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks
· Knowledge of the general business processes for a residential care facility for elders
· Must possess and maintain clearances from DOJ and FBI as verified by the Live-Scan process
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
· Moderate standing, stooping, bending, lifting, walking, and stairs
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
The Housekeeper will work under the direction of the Administrator to ensure the quality service is provided to all residents while functioning within the guidelines of facility policies & Title XXII.
Responsibilities and duties to include:
· Perform general housekeeping duties in resident rooms per housekeeping schedule.
· Participate in laundry service procedures to include collection and handling of soiled laundry, cleaning and drying processes per manufacturer instructions, sorting and folding of laundry, and distribution to resident rooms.
· Perform general housekeeping duties on assigned common areas in the facility.
· Collection and disposal of trash from assigned resident rooms and assigned common areas.
· Demonstrates the ability to attend work on a regular and routine basis to avoid disruption to the Assisted Living community
· Performs any other duties as assigned
