Full Job Description
Department: Public Safety
Reports To: Sergeant
FSLA Classification: Non-Exempt
Starting Pay: $16.50/hour
Shifts available (Please include which shift you are applying for):
- Thursday - Sunday - 1400 hours - 2200 hours
- Thursday - Sunday - 2200 hours - 0600 hours
Primary Duties:
- Checks computer system to verify authorization of all those attempting entry into the association.
- Correctly input name and vehicle information into computer database
- Answers telephone calls; when applicable respond to questions or direct appropriately.
- Logs all relevant and pertinent information into logs.
- Maintains radio contact with Public Safety Officers.
- Dispatches Public Safety Officers to call for service.
- Records activities of Public Safety Officers.
- Contacts outside agencies when needed.
- Performs all other duties as directed.
Requirements:
- Must be customer-service oriented.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must possess good decision-making skills and a high level of patience.
- Must be detailed oriented.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge necessary.
- Must possess reliable transportation.
- Possess flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Overtime required as needed.
