Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following established standards
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning to maintain a polished appearance
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and towels to ensure guest needs are met promptly
- Handle janitorial tasks including waste removal, dusting, window cleaning, and surface disinfecting
- Follow safety procedures and use proper cleaning equipment to ensure a safe working environment
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and room status updates
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties throughout shifts
- Previous hotel or custodial experience is highly desirable; experience managing housekeeping tasks is a plus
