If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Village Discount Outlet is a reputable and expanding thrift store chain, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced regional manager.
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to multiple thrift store locations within the region, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Drive sales growth and profitability by following our effective merchandising strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns.
- Execute regional operational plans, including budgeting, inventory management, staffing, and loss prevention.
- Recruit, train, and motivate store managers and staff, fostering a positive work environment/culture and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Monitor store performance metrics, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
- Be in the stores everyday to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards, cleanliness, overall store presentation and performance.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and retail pricing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) as a thrift store or retail store manager, with a track record of achieving sales goals and managing multi-store operations.
- Strong business acumen and financial literacy, including budgeting, and cost control.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of thrift store industry trends, popular brands, and pricing strategies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Flexibility to travel between store locations within the region as needed.
