Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and dedicated Servers to join our vibrant Omakase restaurant & Sip Bar team in the East Village neightborhood. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them through the dining experience with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast, ensuring clarity and attention to detail
- Provide menu recommendations, including sushi and omakase options, upselling specials to enhance guest satisfaction and restaurant sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining atmosphere
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to maintain smooth service flow
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly Japanese dining or omakase settings preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast, and Resy for reservations and order management
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining attention to detail
- Experience in upselling beverages or menu items to increase sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and transaction accuracy

Pay: $24.98 - $30.08 per hour
