We're looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Mixer to join our bakery team full-time. In this role, you'll be responsible for measuring, weighing, and preparing ingredients, and operating mixing equipment to produce consistent, high-quality batters and doughs for our baked goods.
This is a hands-on, physical role perfect for someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys the rhythm of a working kitchen.
What You'll Do
- Measure and weigh ingredients accurately according to recipes/formulas
- Prepare and stage ingredients ahead of production
- Operate and monitor commercial mixers (spiral, planetary, etc.)
- Follow recipes and batch instructions consistently and accurately
- Maintain proper mixing times, speeds, and ingredient order
- Track inventory and flag low ingredient stock
- Keep mixing stations, equipment, and work areas clean and sanitized
- Follow all food safety and safety protocols
- Communicate with bakers and production team to keep workflow on schedule
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a bakery, kitchen, or food production environment preferred
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
- Willingness to work early morning shifts
- Food handler's certification a plus (or willingness to obtain one)
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
