About the Role
Are you a big kid at heart who loves bringing smiles to children's faces? If you’re energetic, patient, and looking for a meaningful job where you can play with a purpose, we want to meet you!
As a Behavior Technician, you will work 1-on-1 with incredible children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques, you'll help them build essential life skills, learn to communicate, and reach exciting new milestones—all through play, positive encouragement, and fun interactive activities.
No prior ABA experience? No problem! We provide full, paid RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) training to get you certified and confident. You’ll work under the direct mentorship and close supervision of a supportive Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who will guide you every step of the way.
What You’ll Do (The Fun Stuff!):
- Play & Connect: Run engaging 1-on-1 therapy sessions that feel like structured play—using toys, games, and positive reinforcement to teach new skills.
- Make a Difference: Help kids develop communication, social skills, and independence in a supportive environment.
- Learn & Grow: Follow individualized treatment plans created by your supervising BCBA, learning hands-on behavioral strategies.
- Track Wins: Celebrate and log daily progress to see how much your clients are learning and growing!
- Team Up: Work closely with parents and your BCBA to ensure every child gets the best care possible.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Big Heart & High Energy: Someone who loves working with children, stays patient, and knows how to make learning fun.
- Learn-It-All Mindset: Eager to complete our comprehensive paid RBT training program.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: (A degree or interest in Psychology, Education, or Child Development is a sweet bonus!)
- Reliability: Dependable transportation, a valid driver's license, and active auto insurance.
- Background Check: Ability to pass standard background checks and clearances.
Why You’ll Love Working With Us:
- Paid RBT Training & Certification Support: We cover your training and prep you for certification success!
- Mentorship: Hands-on guidance and regular supervision from dedicated BCBAs.
- Flexible Schedules: Perfect starting baseline (e.g., 12–15 hours/week) with opportunities to grow your case load.
- Competitive Starting Pay: $20.00 – $24.00/hour (with immediate raise potential upon earning your RBT!)
- Growth Opportunities: Clear career pathways into lead tech roles, BCaBA, or BCBA positions.
- Earn your RBT, Earn More: We reward professional growth. Upon obtaining your RBT certification, you'll receive an immediate $1.00 per hour raise.
