Responsibilities
- Operate or learn to operate articulated haul trucks
- Operate or learn to operate wheel loaders
- Operate or learn to operate excavators
- Assist with the operation and maintenance of quarry pumps
- Operate or assist with quarry saws
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections
- Use hand tools safely and effectively
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Complete other quarry-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Experience with heavy equipment is a plus but not required
- Willingness to learn new equipment and job skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Able to follow directions and safety guidelines
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
