The Bench Mechanic performs tear downs, troubleshoots, and repairs moderate to complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment and systems. Reports to the Cell Leader.
Responsibilities:

Install, repair, and perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of moderate to complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components or systems.

When necessary, may be responsible for system/machine modifications at the job site. This includes but is not limited to material fabrication, assembly, and modification of equipment on job site assignments.

Prepare detailed service reports utilizing Microsoft Office and/or ERP software. Reports will include records of materials used, hours worked, travel expenses, and other project-related data.

As a representative of Airline Hydraulics, communicate professionally and effectively with customers, co-workers, vendors, and sub-contractors.

Work overtime as required to complete projects.

Perform service repairs and related projects in the field when necessary.

Complete all job-related training classes as assigned.

Perform other essential and related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
-
Must be 18 years of age or older
-
1-5 years of mechanic experience preferred, including experience with service of both hydraulic and electronic products and systems.

Thorough working knowledge of hydraulic components, including knowledge of Bosch Rexroth components preferred

Ability to interpret and analyze electro-hydraulic schematics

Basic AC/DC circuitry knowledge.

Strong computer skills. Capable of working with Microsoft Office and a variety of applications.

Strong time management and organization skills. Must be able to work independently and successfully complete multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment.

Strong communication skills. Must be capable of using written and verbal communications to effectively convey plans and specific details to internal and external customers.

Ability to work in difficult physical and stressful situations for extended periods of time.
