Key Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired
- Previous experience supporting students with visual impairments, preferably in a school environment

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct instruction to students with visual impairments, adapting methods to meet individual needs
- Assess students’ skill levels and develop or modify appropriate IEP goals and instructional plans
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, aides, and family members to ensure an accessible learning environment
- Offer recommendations and training for specialized equipment and classroom adaptations
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting approaches as needed for optimal growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions for student support
