We are boutique care facility that provides positive dog training and personalized dog care for clients in Los Angeles.

We intentionally limit the number of dogs in our care so our team can remain deeply attentive to each dog’s behavior, temperament, and needs. All staff are trained to prioritize calm handling, thoughtful observation, and proactive communication to create a safe, comfortable environment for both dogs and team members.
Our facility is located on a beautiful 3.5-acre property and continues to evolve. We currently operate multiple outdoor yards designed for supervised socialization, enrichment, and training.
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive team member to work 20-30 hours per week.
Shifts we can offer -
Opening Shift-
Sunday, 8am - 3pm
Closing Shift-
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 4:30pm-9:30pm
In this role, you'll be assisting our owner/dog trainer with caring for dogs at our facility.
This role is ideal for someone who is looking for part-time work and wants to learn more about dog behavior and positive reinforcement training. The knowledge you can attain in this role is very valuable for those who currently work with animals or wish to pursue a career in veterinary/animal care. Those who have worked at a dog daycare, kennel, shelter, veterinary office or rescue organization are great candidates!
Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- have at least 1 year of experience working in a professional setting with dogs (not just with your own dog)
- be comfortable driving our electric Tesla shuttle
- have your own, personal reliable method of transportation
- have compassion, patience, and an understanding of the level of attentiveness needed when caring for dogs
- possess strong communication
- maintain a positive attitude + energy at work
- be comfortable handling small and large dogs
- must be available to work on holidays
Responsibilities
- supervising social times and playgroups
- taking dogs on nature walks
- assessing temperament and body language
- maintaining the cleanliness of shuttle and indoor/outdoor areas
- picking up after dogs
- following strict protocol and paying close attention to detail
- feedings
- dispensing medications
- utilizing software for internal updates
- taking photos/videos of dog social time for clients
We are currently expanding our company so there is potential for growth in the position. Hourly pay is based on experience.
