American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring a CO or Compact RN license and at least 1 year of specialty experience.

Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
-
Schedule consists of 3x12-hour Day shifts per week
-
May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on business need
-
May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
-
Uses Epic for charting

Active RN license, Single State or Compact (CO)
-
Current BLS certification (AHA) that does not expire prior to start date
-
ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service
-
Minimum 1 year of experience in the Operating Room specialty required
-
ASN required, graduation from an accredited School of Nursing

BSN preferred
-
Epic charting experience required
-
Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
-
Perform health teaching and health counseling
-
Provide therapy and treatment supportive and restorative to patient life and well-being

Execute delegated medical functions and refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment

Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
-
Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
-
Permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
