RN Job Responsibilities
-Implement and coordinate the delivery of care in collaboration with client physicians and other health professionals.
-Perform assessments, care planning evaluations and cares of residents.
-Document all pertinent information regarding nursing care, care plans and observations
-Provide functional direction and assistance to care staff and complete new staff orientation as assigned.
-Medication Administration: Demonstrates knowledge of medications and their correct administration. Observes, documents and reports client responses to medications.
-Maintain policies and procedures implemented by care agency.
-Supervises the delivery of care, education of the staff, and ensures the smooth operation of care procedures in the facility.
Required skills and qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited school
- Current registered nurse in the state of practice
- Geriatric nursing experience preferred, but not required
- Commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care
- Must be able to work in team environment and have excellent interpersonal skills
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year
