Come join our team of dog lovers at a small dog training company! We would love your help working with friendly dogs and puppies in our care. Important: You must have direct professional experience working with dogs as a kennel technician, groomer/bather, or veterinary technician. Please do NOT apply if you do not.
Hours: Full-time opportunity (32 hours or more) or part-time. Must be able to work early am (7 am) and occasional Saturdays.
Duties: Potty walks, folding laundry, light cleaning (vacuum, mop, wipe surfaces). Clean crates and kennels. Monitor play groups. Supervise puppies and young dogs. Take photos and describe dog activities for report cards. Use Gingr software application. Lift bags of dog food. Bathe puppies and young dogs up to 75 lbs. You will be on your feet, bending over, and interacting with dogs.
Outstanding employees are sponsored financially at dog training school or grooming school after one year of service, then employed as staff trainers or groomers upon graduation. The business owner is a mentor trainer with two major national dog training schools.
Unlike many large daycares, our kennel technicians oversee small play groups of 4-6 dogs at a time. You will learn about dog body language and safe dog handling.
Two locations in Lake Worth (commercial daycare, licensed home board and train facility).
Requirements: Exercise and interact with dogs of various sizes and breeds at training location. Manage small play groups. Clean dog crates and work area. Laundry. Contact with dog hair and fluids; chemicals. Lifting bags of dog food.
You must be physically fit and have your own transportation. You will be on your feet and busy for most of your shift.

You must be able to follow safety instructions regarding the handling of the dogs in your care.
You must be on time, organized, sober, and have your own transportation (not rely on Uber). Able to work without direction and make good decisions. No high school students.
Desired qualities: Neat; organized; hard-working. Able to communicate effectively with other team members and present a friendly demeanor to clients.

Reporting to the Lead Kennel Technician, your primary responsibilities will include animal handling, pet care, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for the animals. Your core skills in kennel experience and animal restraint will be vital in ensuring the well-being of our furry guests.
