As a Furniture Sales Associate, you will guide customers through the furniture-buying process, provide product knowledge, explain financing options, and help them find the perfect furniture for their home and budget. We are looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering outstanding customer service, and achieving sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Welcome every customer with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Assist customers in selecting furniture, mattresses, and home décor that fits their needs, style, and budget.
- Build lasting customer relationships through exceptional service.
- Learn and confidently present product features, warranties, and financing options.
- Meet and exceed individual sales goals.
- Prepare customer orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
- Follow up with customers regarding orders and deliveries.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting showroom.
- Stay informed about current promotions and new merchandise.
- Work as part of a team to provide an outstanding shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or furniture sales experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to succeed.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Comfortable working in a sales and commission-driven environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the showroom during scheduled shifts.
