Skye Sports Academy is seeking energetic, knowledgeable, and high-character volleyball coaches who are passionate about developing athletes on and off the court. As our volleyball program continues to expand, we're looking for leaders who want to help build a competitive and positive culture.

Responsibilities
- Plan, lead and deliver organized, development-focused practices and engaging volleyball training sessions tailored to various skill levels, emphasizing fundamental techniques, game strategies, and sportsmanship.
- Coach teams during local, regional, and travel tournaments.
- Monitor athlete progress through regular assessments, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Promote safety by ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols during all activities.
- Foster a positive team environment by encouraging teamwork, good sportsmanship, and respectful communication among players.
- Collaborate with parents, school staff, or community organizers to coordinate schedules and communicate player progress.
- Support clinics, camps, recruiting, and organizational events.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sports coaching, physical education teaching, or related roles with a focus on volleyball preferred.
- Strong communication skills to effectively instruct players of diverse ages and skill levels.
- Knowledge of volleyball techniques, rules, and game strategies; certification in sports-specific training instruction is a plus.
- Experience working with children or students in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage behavior positively while fostering motivation and confidence among athletes.

Former players, experienced coaches, educators, trainers, or volleyball enthusiasts with a passion for teaching and mentoring. Travel availability is expected throughout the season. The ideal candidate will bring passion for sports, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to nurturing young athletes’ growth both on and off the court.
