Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. This position plays an important role in keeping materials, parts, and finished products moving efficiently in and out of our facility. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments and verify items against purchase orders or packing slips.
- Inspect incoming materials for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Prepare outgoing shipments using UPS, FedEx, and USPS shipping systems.
- Pack, label, and stage orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as needed.
- Work with team members to ensure orders are processed and shipped on time.
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient warehouse area.
- Follow company procedures for inventory control, shipping accuracy, and workplace safety.
Requirements
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to use shipping software or learn new systems.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team.
