As a full-time SLP-CCC working in the school setting, you’ll bring expertise, compassion, and a patient, student-centered approach. You’ll assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, providing tailored interventions for multilingual students.
Qualifications:
- Active and valid Massachusetts SLP license (attach a screenshot of your active license upon application)
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Bilingual fluency to effectively serve a diverse student population
- Previous experience providing speech-language services in a school setting
- Reliable transportation to and from the school
- Ability to successfully complete required drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI check
- Punctuality and excellent communication skills are essential
- Willingness to notify both the school and recruiter in case of illness
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments and interventions for students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain thorough and confidential session documentation
- Communicate regularly with educators and families to support student progress
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive school culture
