Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes or community settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, assisting them with daily activities, and ensuring their safety and comfort. This role requires a blend of clinical skills and personal care abilities, making it a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about caregiving.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and document vital signs, changes in health status, and any concerns regarding the client's well-being. .
- Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
- Support clients with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
- Ensure a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
- Certification in HHA/PCA.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued.
