What You’ll Do
Septic System Installation
- Assist with installing complete septic systems, including trenching, tank placement, and system layout for residential and commercial projects.
Excavation & Trenching
- Perform digging and trenching work by hand and with equipment, supporting excavation and site development tasks.
Equipment Operation
- Learn to safely operate excavators, skid steers, compactors, and other machinery used on active job sites.
Grading & Site Prep
- Support rough and finish grading to ensure proper elevations, drainage, and stable ground conditions.
Tools & Material Handling
- Use hand and power tools, transport materials, and assist with site setup and daily operations.
Team Support & Execution
- Work under a foreman to complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining quality and jobsite standards.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; previous experience in construction or manual labor is a plus but not required. Valid drivers license required. This is an entry-level seasonal position which will provide training for all required skills.
Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and working in various weather conditions. Strong attention to safety procedures with a commitment to maintaining a secure work environment. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions carefully and communicate effectively with team members. Willingness to learn new skills quickly and take on diverse responsibilities as needed. Basic understanding of construction site safety standards; certifications such as OSHA training are advantageous but not mandatory. Job Details
Seasonal position offered now through November 1st. Full-time hours available with opportunity for overtime. Must have reliable transportation.
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
