Scale Food Labs moves food and beverage products from a formula that works in a lab to a product that runs at full production. We develop, stress-test, and pilot food and beverage products and act as a full scale manufacturing facility to keystone manufacturing partners.
The warehouse and the equipment are where that work lives or dies. We're looking for someone who takes pride in owning their role.
What you'll own:
- The warehouse: receiving, counting, labeling, and shipping pallets, and keeping inventory accurate for raw and finished goods across our systems.
- Cold storage: managing on-site freezers and external, off-site frozen storage, with accurate counts and clean moves in and out.
- The building and its equipment: forklift, air compressor, refrigeration, and more. You run the audits, log the maintenance, and keep things running.
- Production support: working closely with our production team to stage ingredients as needed for batching, ensure a proper slacking schedule and rotation for refrigerated and frozen items, set up and shut down the flow wrapper, and run packout. You'll assist in production support as needed.
- Supplies: knowing what's low and reordering it before anyone has to ask.
What we're looking for:
- Forklift certification (required).
- Able to lift 30+ lbs.
- Hands-on warehouse and facilities experience.
- Comfort with inventory systems and tracking. You keep numbers accurate without being told twice.
- Mechanical aptitude. You'd rather diagnose the air compressor than wait a week for someone else to.
- Someone who flags problems early and follows through.
- Our values: People First, Intentionality, Stay Curious, Integrity, Accountability, All In.
Nice to have:
- Experience working in a food manufacturing facility.
Why Scale Food Labs:
This is not a big-box distribution center. It's a small, fast pilot-commercialization operation where the warehouse and the equipment directly shape whether a client's product makes it to market.
One person owns the warehouse and the building, not a slice of either. The work is varied, the impact is visible, and the work you do matters everyday.
