Provide security at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, protecting personnel, property, and restricted areas.
- Perform security patrols and monitoring
- Enforce access control (SIDA badge compliance)
- Respond to incidents and emergencies
Schedule: 1 week on / 1 week off (12-hour shifts)
Location: Anchorage, AK
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year experience (law enforcement, military, corrections, or security)
- Ability to obtain SIDA badge
- Ability to obtain Alaska Unarmed Security Guard License
- Reliable transportation (driver’s license preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Must pass background check, drug screen, and fitness evaluation

Key Responsibilities
- Enforce security procedures and airport regulations
- Control access to restricted areas and issue ID badges
- Monitor facilities using visual and electronic surveillance
- Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
- Write accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Assist law enforcement and emergency personnel
- Provide professional, courteous service to the public
- Support emergency response (fire, evacuation, active threat)
- Participate in required training and safety programs
Work Environment
