Innovative Driven is currently seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to assist the in-house team at one of our most well-respected corporate clients!
The TEMPORARY role is expected to last 3 months, fully remote, and 40 hours a week (Monday-Friday)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides legal advice and guidance in the resolution of significant employee grievances, unfair labor practice claims, EEO and human rights investigations, and employee discipline concerns.
- Provides legal advice and guidance to HR Compliance department regarding all employment law matters, including wage and hour compliance, employee classification, and leave management under FMLA and similar laws
- Communicate and collaborate with internal stakeholders in the legal team, as well as vendor partners
- Provides legal advice and guidance to corporate and facility management and human resources staff regarding labor and employment matters, including hiring, discipline, terminations, pay equity, benefits, accommodations, and other employment-related initiatives designated by the company
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 10 years of experience as a Labor and Employment Attorney
- Active BAR license in the state of residence
- Strong organizational skills, including the use of legal tracking software
Pay: $80.00 - $120.00 per hour
