Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
- Operating Vacuum trailer and/ or 70 BBL straight truck
- Loading and unloading roll off boxes
- Operating a Tractor/Trailer with a bulk tanker trailer
- Effective communication with on-site foremen regarding progress and safety
- Adhere to and enforce all safety standards
- Maintain organized and clean job site throughout the project.
- Participate in and promote the safety culture
- Maintain all necessary job-related certifications
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Must have an unrestricted CDL A with Tanker and current DOT Medical Card
- Hazmat Endorsements highly preferred
- Must have experience with Winch/Roll-off, Vacuum Trucks and/or Tankers
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as an individual environment
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work with hands on tools and to work in construction related situations
- Follow instructions given both orally or in writing
- Ability to work independently, with accuracy and in accordance with company safety and quality standards
- Ability to communicate in English with other employees for the purpose of hazard recognition, problem solving, or other purposes
