Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such ensuring efficiency and accuracy
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues swiftly, and foster positive guest relations to ensure satisfaction
- Assist with food handling, preparation support, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in compliance with food safety standards
- Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to coordinate seating arrangements and optimize table turnover
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and the ability to handle multiple tables efficiently
- Culinary experience or background in food preparation is highly desirable
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and billing accuracy
- Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
