Job Title: Logistics Claims Coordinator
Location: Springdale, AR
Duration: 6-Month Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours Weekly
Compensation: $18.00 per Hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Claims Coordinator to support transportation and product claims management within a fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for investigating, processing, and resolving overages, shortages, damages, and refusals (OS&D) while ensuring compliance with company policies, standard operating procedures, and service-level expectations. This role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments and external partners.
- Manage and resolve transportation-related claims, including overages, shortages, damages, and refusals (OS&D).
- Communicate with drivers, carriers, and transportation partners to gather information and determine claim resolution.
- Evaluate claim documentation and make accurate product disposition decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including transportation, operations, quality assurance, customer service, warehousing, inventory management, and sustainability departments.
- Maintain and update active claim worklists and transportation management systems.
- Obtain, review, and validate Proof of Delivery (POD) documentation.
- Process donation receipts and distribute required documentation to appropriate stakeholders.
- Monitor and manage carrier-related charges and accessorial payments.
- Conduct daily audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Generate reports and maintain operational metrics to support business performance tracking.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all claims activities and resolutions.
- Analyze issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum one (1) year of office, administrative, or clerical experience required.
- Three (3) or more years of related experience preferred.
- Experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, customer service, or claims management preferred.
- Experience with data collection, reporting, and analysis is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional telephone and customer service etiquette.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
- Strong documentation and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
- Microsoft Excel

- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with transportation management systems preferred.
- Ability to interpret reports and analyze operational data.
- Familiarity with enterprise software platforms and logistics applications preferred.
- Experience with call center systems and customer interaction platforms preferred.
