Certified Yoga Instructor
One Within All | Yoga & Wellness Studio is seeking a passionate, reliable, and community-minded Certified Yoga Instructor to join our growing team in Brookfield, Connecticut.
We are a new yoga and wellness studio creating an intimate, welcoming environment centered around mindful movement, personal growth, recovery, and genuine community connection.
We are looking for an instructor who loves teaching and knows how to create classes where students of different experience levels feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, engaging, and thoughtfully structured yoga classes
- Demonstrate postures, breathing techniques, and sequences clearly
- Offer appropriate modifications and variations for different experience levels and abilities
- Create a warm, inclusive, and supportive class environment
- Provide clear verbal alignment and movement guidance
- Incorporate mindfulness, breath awareness, and intentional movement into classes
- Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled classes
- Build genuine relationships with students and contribute positively to the studio community
- Collaborate on workshops, special classes, and community events when opportunities arise
Qualifications
- Current Yoga Teacher Certification from a recognized training program
- Strong knowledge of yoga postures, sequencing, alignment, breathwork, and safe movement principles
- Group teaching experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, dependable, welcoming, and community-oriented
- CPR and AED certification preferred
- Additional experience in Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Chair Yoga, Yoga Nidra, breathwork, meditation, sound healing, or other complementary wellness practices is a plus
