Pre-K Teacher — Round Rock ISD Partnership Program

Shining Stars Academy has partnered with Round Rock ISD to bring a Pre-K program to our community — and we're looking for the right teacher to lead this classroom. What You'll Do
- Provide children with a safe, loving, clean, nurturing, and academically focused learning environment
- Create and follow lesson plans filled with engaging educational activities
- Document and share regular updates with parents on their child's progress
- Support diapering, potty training, food prep, and general classroom care
- Multitask effectively to support both children and your co-teacher
- Interact professionally with parents during pick-up and drop-off
- Take ownership of your classroom, making it the best possible space for your students
- Participate in ongoing child development training
What You'll Need
Applicants must meet at least one of the following requirements per our district partnership program:
- EC-6 Texas Teaching Certification, or
- BA or BS in Child Development or Early Childhood Education, or
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential + 2 years of experience in a high-quality TRS or nationally accredited center, or
- 8 years of experience in a high-quality TRS or nationally accredited center, or
- Montessori Certification + 2 years of experience in a high-quality TRS or nationally accredited center
Additional Requirements:
- Available full-time, Monday through Friday
- 18 years of age or older
- Able to pass a background clearance check
- Energetic and passionate about early childhood education
- Reliable, punctual, and fully present each day
- Comfortable following child care licensing, Round Rock ISD, and school policies
- CPR/First Aid certification upon hire
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs throughout the day
- Professional demeanor at all times
