Job Summary
Join our team as a Bagel Maker. We need an early morning person (4am) to boil and bake our delicious bagels, set up the display for the day, produce multiple batches of dough for the next day and help with packaging of wholesale orders. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that each bagel is made with precision and care while adhering to food safety standards.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and bake a variety of bagels using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques
- Decorate and package finished products to ensure they are visually appealing and ready for sale
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, following strict food safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and manage inventory effectively
- Contribute to menu development by experimenting with new flavors and recipes
Basic qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation or bagel production preferred but will train the right person
Preferred qualifications
- Culinary experience with a focus on baking
- Be flexible with hours and days available
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
