American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy (Endo Prep/PACU) position requiring at least 2 years of nursing experience and PACU or ICU background.

Work setting is a hospital-based Endoscopy Prep and PACU unit focused on pre- and post-procedural care for adult patients
-
Day shift, 12-hour schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
-
Epic (Optime role) is the EMR used; prior Epic experience is preferred
-
13-week contract
-
Active MD or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
-
PACU experience required; current ICU RNs may be considered and trained to PACU
-
Dysrhythmia management experience required
-
BLS required
-
ACLS preferred
-
Prior ICU experience preferred
-
Experience at a 500+ bed facility required
-
Epic experience preferred
-
Critical Care Certification preferred
-
Trauma course completion preferred
-
IV access/certification preferred (for Prep role)

1–2 previous travel assignments preferred

SSN and DOB required for consideration

One professional reference required for consideration

Provides pre- and post-procedural nursing care for adult patients undergoing endoscopic procedures

Orientation is held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month

Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate
