What you’ll do
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installations.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various plumbing tasks.
- Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and connections.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Thread pipes and assemble fittings with precision to ensure leak-free connections.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to coordinate plumbing work with other trades.
- Provide exceptional field service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently as part of your daily duties.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and their integration within plumbing frameworks.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations during installations.
- Experience in carpentry or remodeling projects that complement plumbing work.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) preferred for transporting materials as needed.
