Physical Therapist Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at MBH Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients recover from injuries, surgeries, and musculoskeletal disorders through tailored rehabilitation programs and therapeutic interventions. Physical Therapist Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough initial assessments of patients' physical conditions, medical history, and functional limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, physician referrals, and patient goals.
- Administer a variety of physical therapy techniques, exercises, and modalities to improve patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and mobility.
- Monitor patients' progress closely and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on proper exercise techniques, home exercise programs, injury prevention strategies, and self-care practices.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between treatment phases.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and billing information in accordance with regulatory requirements and practice standards.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct, confidentiality, and patient care at all times.
Physical Therapist Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid New Jersey state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- CPR certification.
- 1+ years of prior experience in orthopedic or sports rehabilitation preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, manual therapy, and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to market and promote the practice through social media and community events
- Commitment to continuing education and professional development.
