Full-Time Position
Cleaning Services Needed
Pay Anticipated: $16/HR
Hours:
· Monday-Thursday 6:30 AM-3:30 PM
· Friday 6:30 AM-10:30 AM
Duties:
· Performs daily facility cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning, dusting, sanitizing, etc.
· Maintain a clean & organized janitorial closet while monitoring the cleaning supplies and material inventory; notifies the Cleaning Services Lead of shortages or needs.
· Operates various cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, carpet cleaners, etc.; mixes products as needed per label to perform specialized cleaning functions.
· Following a routine deep cleaning schedule to include tasks such as wall washing, cleaning janitorial power equipment & bathroom sanitization, etc.
· Performs miscellaneous seasonal or periodic duties; mowing lawns, grooming flower beds; assists with snow removal by operating a snow blower and/or shovels; change out light bulbs, etc. From time to time position may require assisting in other areas of Public Works/General Services.
Qualifications:
· Must possess a valid driver’s license
· Self-starter with integrity to work alone & the ability to work as part of a team
· Understand and follow health & safety regulations
· Must be able to pass a background check
· Be able to communicate effectively & follow directions
· Ability to lift and/or move 50 lbs.
· Must be willing to work within other departments as needed
· Meet attendance standards necessary for successful job performance
· Be comfortable working under video & audio surveillance.
· 1 Year of professional residential/commercial cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
