We are seeking to fill several positions. Small family owned Italian restaurant
Kitchen staff- Salad/Grill Cook -Tuesday-Saturday 3:00pm-9pm $13-$15
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and ensuring their dining experience is enjoyable.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Prepare and serve a variety of Italian dishes, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen, and workstations throughout shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
Skills
- Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Italian cuisine is a plus but not required; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
