Membership & Wellness Lead – Degree Wellness
Are you a natural connector who loves helping people feel their best? As our Membership & Wellness Lead, you'll be the friendly, driven presence guests count on—guiding them toward memberships and services that fit their goals, while keeping the studio's energy warm and welcoming. This is a part-time, hands-on role for someone who thrives on building relationships and hitting goals along the way.
Pay: $18.00/hour base + commission and performance bonuses
Your Impact:
- Achieve sales goals for memberships and wellness services using real-time dashboards.
- Generate and follow up on leads through calls, texts, emails, and in-studio conversations to convert prospects into members.
- Bring ideas to promote member engagement and retention.
- Act as the go-to presence on shift—keeping energy high and modeling great guest conversations.
- Help onboard and coach new team members on membership conversations and guest experience standards.
- Ensure every guest feels welcomed, supported, and valued from first visit to renewal.
- Support daily operations: scheduling flow, guest check-in/checkout, and shift handoffs.
- Reinforce our mission and values in every member interaction.
Availability Requirements:
- 30–36 hours per week.
- Must be available to cover both opening and closing shifts.
- Weekdays: 7:30 am – 7:30 pm.
- Weekends: 9:30 am – 5:30 pm.
Ideal Experience:
- Strong sales background with a proven record of hitting targets and driving KPIs.
- Experience generating leads and following up to close sales.
- Experience in membership-based wellness businesses (fitness, medspa, spa, or similar) required.
- Experience mentoring, training, or informally leading peers is a plus.
- Confident with POS/software (Mindbody or similar).
- Flexible schedule that accommodates open and close shift coverage.
- Relationship-builder with a solutions mindset and genuine enthusiasm for wellness.
