SAJE Strategic Solutions is seeking a dedicated and confident Licensed Clinician to join a high-acuity behavioral health and forensic treatment program operating within a premier skilled nursing environment in the San Fernando Valley, CA. This on-site, part-time position offers a competitive hourly rate of $62.00 – $64.00 per hour. Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Assessments: Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, and critical risk assessments for residents upon intake and during ongoing care.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to specific behavioral and psychiatric needs within the facility.
- Therapeutic Services: Provide direct individual and group therapy, urgent crisis intervention, and specialized psychoeducation to support resident stability.
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, coordinating care seamlessly with facility psychiatrists, nursing staff, and legal representatives.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain timely, precise clinical charting according to regulatory standards, ensuring all activities meet strict state, federal, and facility guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered California license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience. Preference will be given to candidates with strong backgrounds in skilled nursing facilities (SNF), behavioral health, crisis management, forensics, or acute psychiatric settings.
- Clinical Skills: Advanced proficiency in clinical assessment, thorough charting, and the application of trauma-informed care.
- Soft Skills: Empathic communicator with strong professional boundaries, emotional resilience, excellent clinical judgment, and a solution-focused mindset.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with inpatient psychiatric care, dual-diagnosis populations, or court-mandated long-term care frameworks (such as conservatorship cases).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
