Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Wedding Photographer/Videographer to capture the special moments of our clients’ most memorable day in the Rochester, Buffalo, and Finger Lakes areas.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and the ability to tell compelling stories through both photography and videography. This role involves working closely with clients to deliver stunning visual content that reflects their unique love story, utilizing advanced editing and post-production techniques. Experience with social media management and art direction is a plus, as you will help showcase our work across various platforms.
Duties
- Capture high-quality photographs and videos during wedding ceremonies, receptions, and related events using professional equipment.
- Technical photography and/or videography skills
- Attention to detail
- Creativity and composition skills
- Ability to stand and move around for hours during event
- Efficient communication skills and ability to direct large groups
- Assist with art direction to ensure visual consistency and storytelling coherence throughout the project.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences for photography and/or videography styles.
- Maintain equipment, ensure proper lighting setup, and adhere to safety standards during shoots.
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and delivering beyond expectations.
- Efficient communication skills and ability to direct large groups
- Ability to store photos for at least 6 months
- Turn in files within 48 hours after assigned wedding
- Must have high speed internet (if not local to the Houston area
- Available on weekends
- Flexible to travel to locations as required for the job
Experience
- Proven experience in wedding photography and videography with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical skills in capturing live events.
- Strong knowledge of photo editing techniques, photo manipulation, color management, and color theory.
- Experience in video production including filming, editing, and post-production workflows.
- Background in journalism or art direction is advantageous for storytelling excellence.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. - Full frame camera
- Wide aperture prime lenses (35, 50, 85 etc...) or
- Zoom lenses 24-70 2.8, 70-200 2.8 preferred, but not required
- Speedlight or off-camera flash (photo)
- Stabilizer (video)
Pay: $400.00 per day
